Jana’s yoga journey started 20+ years ago after being hit by a drunk driver. No noticeable injuries, but the right leg started dragging. Her niece recommended yoga. It was exactly what she needed. Practicing regularly since then has improved her scoliosis, stamina, asthma and overall quality of life. Taking teacher training at Yoga Nirvana has deepened her knowledge and appreciation for the mind-body-spirit connection, bringing her greater peace, contentment, and awareness of endless possibilities.
Jana is mother to 6, granny to 12, has a BA in French from BYU, M.Ed. in Special Ed from ASU, certified Suzuki piano instructor, passed exams for Royal Academy of Dance – primary through grade 4, and overindulges in political activism and chocolate.
