Candice Carr Kelman

Candice in a revolved lunge bindCandice Carr Kelman is a mother of two and a sustainability scholar whose yoga practice spans two decades. She trained in Iyengar yoga (focus on alignment, breath and balance) while studying environmental policy at UNC Asheville, and did teacher training with Lillah Schwartz in 2004.

Candice’s classes incorporate philosophy and science into basic flows and yin/yang for a refreshing mind-body reset. She’s a believer in the transformational power of yoga, helping people meet the challenges of their everyday lives. She offers her own journey from graduate school to  parenthood and professional life as faculty at ASU’s School of Sustainability, as a testimonial, and believes that connecting with the inner source is key to solving the interlinked planetary crises the world faces. Positive energy generated through regular practice makes a difference in our lives – internally and externally.
